MM: Juventus not giving up on Tomori dreams despite…see more

In the past few days, it has been suggested that Fikayo Tomori will not leave AC Milan in the January mercato, despite Juventus’ persistence, and the Bianconeri are not done yet.

Under Paulo Fonseca, Tomori’s Milan chapter had been written, and his next chapter was seemingly in black and white with a deal progressing positively between the two clubs. However, with the Portuguese’s sacking, any possible deal stalled.

Sergio Conceicao reportedly wanted to make his own assessments of the squad and with Tomori playing both games in the Supercoppa, the Englishman may have been given a chance to restart his current situation.

This effectively stopped any chances of a Juventus move happening in January. Whilst the defender was not made ‘not for sale’, the price which the Rossoneri would accept to part ways has changed, so a move to the Old Lady looks difficult.

Nevertheless, Calciomercato.com have reported that their interest in Tomori will not stop. In fact, the club are still determined to ‘return to the attack’ and bring Thiago Motta the defender despite the setback they have experienced.

It seems that the club are looking to ‘revive’ negotiations as soon as possible, and contact will take place to see if there are any chances of the defender moving.
