Fofana: Raggiungeremo il nostro obiettivo… vedere ulteriori

Ahead of the big clash between AC Milan and Juventus this evening, Youssouf Fofana spoke to the media. He admitted that the Rossoneri have to work on a lot, including how they play at the start of games.

Fofana has been an important player for the Rossoneri this season but lately, his form has been rather inconsistent. This was evident in the game against Cagliari, somewhat at fault for the goal conceded, and he wasn’t outstanding against Como either.

Hopefully, therefore, he will turn a corner in tonight’s big game. Speaking to DAZN, as transcribed by MilanPress, Fofana admitted that Milan need to start games a lot better. He also highlighted that Conceicao is doing everything to realise the turnaround.

“We have to improve everything, the coach is putting all his energy into it. We don’t have much time but step by step, we will get to our goal. We hope to have a good performance and improve on the ones in the Supercoppa Italiana. Our desire is to try to start the games differently compared to the last few games.”

It remains to be seen if Milan will come away with all three points from today’s game. Fofana is teaming up with Ismael Bennacer in midfield and due to Christian Pulisic’s injury, Yunus Musah is starting on the right flank.
