During these intense days of the transfer market, there has been much talk about a possible move for Strahinja Pavlovic to Fenerbahce, a player that Milan acquired from RedBull Salzburg just last summer.
The Istanbul-based club, desperately seeking a new central defender, was even ready to spend around 20 million euros for the Serbian center-back, who ultimately declined the Turkish offer and decided to stake his chances with Milan.
According to what was reported this morning by La Repubblica, behind Strahinja’s refusal of Fenerbahce’s offer is actually AC Milan consultant Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who, more than anyone else, believes in the potential of the Serbian player.
