Multiple reports in Italy claim that the new Milan striker, Santiago Gimenez, will wear No.7 at San Siro.

The Mexico international is on the verge of joining Milan from Feyenoord. The Rossoneri are expected to announce his transfer today, Monday, February 3.

On Sunday, Gimenez was at San Siro to watch his new teammates in action in a derby della Madonnina against Inter.

According to several sources in Italy, including Milan News, Gimenez has chosen the No.7, which he will take from Alvaro Morata.

The Spaniard has joined Galatasaray on loan with an option to buy just six months after joining Milan from Atletico Madrid.

Gimenez scored 16 goals in 19 appearances with Feyenoord in the first part of the campaign. Milan will face the Dutch side in the Champions League knockout playoff later this month.

Milan remain busy on the deadline day as Jorge Mendes is working on a deal to sign Joao Felix from Chelsea, while Napoli have reportedly reached an agreement with Rossoneri striker Noah Okafor.
