Milan-owned striker Alvaro Morata and Victor Osimhen on loan from Napoli were stunned when Galatasaray saw opponents Adana Demirspor walk off during the Turkish Super Lig match.
They were only 32 minutes into the game and leading 1-0 thanks to Morata converting a penalty, which had been earned by former Napoli star Dries Mertens.
It was the second goal in just three appearances for Morata with his new club after the deadline day move on loan with option to buy from Milan.
Following another couple of scoring opportunities from Osimhen, who is owned by Napoli, Galatasaray were left stunned as Adana Demirspor technical director Mustafa Alper Avci called his players over to the touchline and ordered them to leave the pitch.
Many of them went into the locker room and a few minutes later the referee confirmed the match had been abandoned.
