Sky: Ranieri on Roma’s third consecutive away victory…see more

Claudio Ranieri analyzed Roma’s performance in their 0-1 win over Parma at the Tardini tonight.

In his post-match interview with Sky Sport, “I’m satisfied, I knew it would be a difficult match. It’s not easy to win here, Parma has good players.”

“Soulé scored a beautiful goal. We had to close the match, in these matches you risk conceding goals. The three points are what we need.”

“Soulé ? I believe in him a lot. It’s not easy to be a Roma player, but he’s applying himself a lot.”

“Matias must stay calm because the Roma of the future will be his,” he said.

“The new reinforcements? I am convinced that they will give us a hand. Thursday will not be easy but we will try. I have to do some rotations but I see that they are responding well. Angelino is one of the fittest, but I had to take him off for fear that he would get hurt.”

“Mancini took a big hit on his ankle and it was swelling, so he told me it was better to go out. Dybala is fine, he’ll play on Thursday night. I didn’t want to risk him.”

“Hummels? He will probably play on Thursday,” he added.
