Roma could be hit with another ground ban after the incidents that occurred at the Giuseppe Meazza on Sunday.
The match – which Milan won to claim the Serie A title in front of their opponents - was marred by several fireworks being thrown onto the pitch by the Giallorossi supporters as the game drew to a close.
Milan stars Gennaro Gattuso and Dida were both struck by the firecrackers, although luckily neither player suffered any serious injuries.
Fabio Capello’s team have already been forced to play two league games at neutral venues after the derby match against Lazio had to be abandoned due to crowd trouble and they will now find out on Tuesday if they will be punished again for their fans’ behaviour.
Meanwhile, Roma have received some good news over the fitness of forward Vincenzo Montella.
The former Sampdoria front-man went under the knife to try and cure a problem in his right knee after surgery earlier in the season failed to cure the injury.
- It is now expected he will be fit in time for the start of next season.
