Le partite della lega di Milan e le sfide dirette

Following the defeat against Torino on Saturday evening, just 13 league games remain for AC Milan this season. There will be quite a few direct clashes in the top-four race as well, with everything on the line for the Rossoneri.

Milan are currently six points behind top four and it could become eight points today, as Juventus will face Cagliari. In short, the situation is far from ideal and as things stand, the Rossoneri making the top four is not super likely.

The upcoming week will be decisive, though, with two ‘direct clashes’ in the race as highlighted by today’s edition of Gazzetta dello Sport (see photo below). Bologna are up first on Thursday for the rescheduled clash, then Lazio will come to San Siro on Sunday.

Napoli (not a direct clash), Fiorentina, Atalanta and Bologna (again) also remain but at least Milan have the likes of Inter and Juventus out of the way. Next week, as said, will be the decisive one because without six points or at the very least four points in those games, it won’t be possible anyway.

Sergio Conceicao made it clear last night that he still believes in top four and from March, he will also have more time with the team given the lack of mid-week clashes.
