Report: journalist explains why Fofana is playing less and expects new signing to feature soon

Fofana started the last couple of games on the bench after previously being undroppable, and there have been rumours of a possible argument between the midfielder and the Rossoneri coach. Denials have since arrived regarding this story.

The amount of game time that Fofana has had simply must catch up to him at some point. The numbers do show that the former Monaco man – in addition to his midfield partner Tijjani Reijnders, who is also playing too much – is not as effective as he was earlier in the campaign.

Speaking live on Sky (via MN24), Di Stefano spoke about the situation at Milan regarding the playing time of Fofana and Warren Bondo, the winter signing who is yet to make his debut, albeit having arrived with a slight injury.

“I don’t think Fofana hasn’t played in the last few games due to technical reasons, but because some physical parameters indicated he wasn’t in top condition. In the next two games we’ll also see Bondo on the pitch, I don’t know if from the start or during the game,” he said.
