Breaking news: Milan ‘could have edge’ over Arsenal in Ait-Nouri pursuit

With AC Milan looking at the long-term future of the left-back position, Rayan Ait-Nouri’s name has emerged, and it seems a move to Italy may be more preferable.

Theo Hernandez’s situation has rapidly gone downhill, and now it seems that the club will try to sell the defender in the summer – a sentence which last summer would have been laughed at. Nevertheless, Milan cannot dwell, and planning has already begun.

The two hottest links to replacing the Frenchman lead to Maxim De Cuyper, and more recently, Rayan Ait-Nouri, and it seems that the Rossoneri may have been given a slight advantage in the race for the latter, despite a new club entering the mix.

In a report from CaughtOffside, it states that Arsenal are the latest team to come forward for the Algerian defender, and whilst they may have more money to hand, they may not last him.

Instead, the report suggests that Wolves would ‘surely prefer to sell abroad’ and this is where it is stated that the Diavolo could be given ‘an edge’ in the proceedings of a deal.

Furthermore, Milan have apparently ‘stepped up’ their own pursuit in the attacking wing-back, which could be another thing worth considering. However, the price tag of €60 million surely would be off-putting for the management.
