Report: AC MILAN COULD SELL THEO HERNANDEZ AND MIKE MAIGNAN THIS SUMMER

In an interview with DAZN, AC Milan technical director Geoffrey Moncada suggested that the club would be willing to sell French internationals Theo Hernandez (27) and Mike Maignan (29) this summer if they do not sign contract extensions.

The two international teammates are both set to end their contract with Milan in 2026 and the club are showing that they are unwilling to let them enter the final year of their contract without putting pen to paper.

Moncada stated in reference to Christian Pulisic (26) and Tijjani Reijnders (26) who are thought to be close to extending their contracts, “We can’t allow them to leave on a free transfer. We’ve worked hard and it seems players are very happy to stay with us.” When asked about the two Les Bleus stars, Moncada added “The same principle applies to them.”

Recently Hernandez came under criticism for his performance during the club’s Champions League exit when he received a second yellow card after he was caught diving by the referee. Milan were sent out of the competition by Feyenoord (2-1 on aggregate).
