In recent weeks, Chelsea has inquired about Tijjani Reijnders’ situation, as reported by journalist Matteo Moretto of Relevo.
At the moment, there is only strong interest, but nothing more. This is also because the Dutch midfielder is set to renew his contract with Milan until June 30, 2030, as he intends to stay with the Rossoneri.
However, there is a variable to consider: the possibility, which, given the current standings, seems likely, that Milan fails to qualify for the Champions League.
In that case, the club would not be able to declare any of its key players untouchable. If interesting offers arrive, they will have to be evaluated.
According to Moretto, Milan will do everything possible to keep Reijnders unless an offer well above market value is received.
Rafael Leao’s situation also needs to be monitored, as he has admirers in both the Premier League and Saudi Arabia.
