Los Angeles Lakers star Luka Doncic received a heartfelt birthday message from his fiancée, Anamaria Goltes, on Friday.
The model and influencer took to Instagram to share a touching tribute to Doncic, who just turned 26.
Goltes posted a photo of herself, Doncic and their daughter, Gabriela. While the baby’s face was covered with a heart emoji for privacy, the message was clear.
“Happy birthday my love,” Goltes wrote in the caption, adding four heart emojis.
The NBA also acknowledged Doncic’s birthday with a social media post, writing, “Join us in wishing Luka Doncic of the Lakers a HAPPY 26th BIRTHDAY!”
Doncic’s special day came on the heels of the Lakers’ impressive 111-102 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Thursday. The victory improved their record to 4-2 in the games that Doncic played and 36-21 overall.
Despite his recent struggles with shooting efficiency, Doncic remains a key player for the Lakers. Against Minnesota, he finished with 21 points, 13 rebounds and five assists.
The Slovenian star previously recorded a triple-double against his former team, the Dallas Mavericks, and had his best scoring night as a Laker with 32 points in a win over the Denver Nuggets.
The Lakers are now preparing for a back-to-back matchup against the Los Angeles Clippers.
Goltes, who has been by Doncic’s side since they met as kids in Croatia, per PEOPLE, has consistently shown her support. From cheering him on at games to celebrating milestones like their engagement and the birth of their daughter, she remains a steady presence in his life.
