AC Milan head coach Sergio Conceicao hopes to finish the season with dignity, and a report claims he had a long meeting with the squad.
According to La Repubblica, there are still at least 13 games left this season and potentially one more in the event of getting to the Coppa Italia final, but many fans are already thinking about the future because of how miserable 2024-25 has been.
Milan sit ninth in the table and they are out of Europe having been eliminated by Feyenoord. Now, a rescue mission is needed to avoid a vertical collapse and to try and get a spot in the Europa League.
The paper claims that there was a meeting at Milanello that lasted almost three hours between Conceicao, the players, coaching staff, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Geoffrey Moncada.
The aim was to discuss the current moment and to exchange ideas, in order to try and unite in view of the season finale. It was a conversation that took place in a calm tone, and was aimed at problem solving.
Conceicao ended it by asking for maximum commitment to achieve the last two objectives remaining for the season: a European place and to win the Coppa Italia (which would secure Europa League access).
