Simone Inzaghi is unhappy to have seen Marcus Thuram called up for France, while Federico Dimarco will stay back with Inter Milan.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews.
The international break is now just a couple days away.
Inter Milan have a huge match this weekend. They face Atalanta in a match that could have major ramifications for the Serie A title.
But then the Nerazzurri’s squad will disperse. Those players who have received national team call-ups will be away for a couple weeks.
Inzaghi Unhappy With Thuram France Call-Up – Dimarco To Stay Back At Inter
One player who Inter coach Simone Inzaghi hoped would get a reprieve during the break was striker Marcus Thuram.
There have been some injury problems for the 27-year-old.

The issue for the Frenchman has been a persistent ankle problem.
Thuram missed a couple of matches after taking a blow to the ankle in a Serie A match against Fiorentina in February.
And then even when Thuram was able to return to the pitch, there was a sense that he was lacking sharpness due to the injuries.
Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi acknowledged that the former Borussia Monchengladbach striker was playing with painkillers.
Accordingly, the Inter coach has hoped that Thuram would be able to rest and shake off his ankle issue over the break.
However, France coach Didier Deschamps has in fact called up the Inter striker.
Meanwhile, however, Federico Dimarco will not be part of the Italy squad over the break.
Inter trio Alessandro Bastoni, Nicolo Barella, and Davide Frattesi will be in the Azzurri camp. But Dimarco is still recovering from a thigh injury.
