“On-court chemistry is a real thing. Anytime that you can log more minutes together, you’re gonna figure out how to play with one another,” said Reaves. “When you play with [Doncic], you’re gonna get good looks, he draws so much attention.”
Doncic has played just 14 games with his new team and has averaged 26.6 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 7.6 assists on 41.1% shooting. While the reigning Western Conference Finals MVP is continuing to find his rhythm, he has scored 29 or more points in six of the last eight games.
Los Angeles is still without LeBron James (left groin strain) and Rui Hachimura (left patellar tendinopathy) who are considered day-to-day. With 16 games remaining in the regular season, LA will need to push to attain one of the top four seeds and have home-court advantage in the first round of the playoffs.
