Roma are once again being linked with former Milan manager Stefano Pioli.
Following Ranieri’s recent announcement which ruled out Gian Piero Gasperini’s eligibility for the coaching position ahead of next season, Roma are now considering other candidates, including Stefano Pioli.
According to Il Messaggero, Pioli fits what Roma are looking for in their next head coach.
The Al Nassr coach, sought after after the dismissal of Daniele De Rossi, has a clause in his contract with the Arab club that would allow him to leave the bench.
Pioli is reportedly open to the idea of returning to Serie A.
The decision is therefore up to Dan Friedkin who will communicate his choice in the coming weeks.
