While LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers continue their bid to make the 2024-25 playoffs, the NBA star’s wife, Savannah James, is also making moves for the L.A. community.
On Friday, Savannah James and her friend, April McDaniel, took to their Instagram Stories to reveal the new initiative that their venture, Let It Break, is launching alongside marketing agency Crown + Conquer.
The initiative, called “United in Action,” aims to provide fire relief to those impacted by the California wildfires that raged throughout the area for weeks earlier in the year. According to the post, the program’s “priority is to provide essential resources & impactful tools to support their journey of rebuilding
Savannah James also re-shared the message that McDaniel wrote, highlighting their commitment to help the community even in the wake of the incident that took so many lives.
“Even after the dust has settled, we are still here for our community,” the post reads. “Thank you to all for coming together.
Let It Break is an organization that Savannah James co-founded with McDaniel, who is also the founder of the Crown + Conquer agency.
According to Fortune, the duo described the organization “as a personal development platform and community for women.” In the LinkedIn profile of Let It Break, it also highlighted its goal to empower women “to overcome limiting beliefs and reach their fullest potential by fostering deep self-awareness, engaging in meaningful conversations, building community, providing education and encouraging purposeful work.
Sure enough, with Savannah James and April McDaniel’s latest initiative for fire relief, Let It Break is fulfilling its mission to empower its community.
