Spain manager Luis De La Fuente has thrown his weight behind Real Madrid to pull off an unlikely comeback against Arsenal in their UEFA Champions League quarter-final second-leg tie on Wednesday.

Arsenal won the first leg 3-0 at the Emirates Stadium in England.

The Gunners will now face Los Blancos at the Santiago Bernabeu for the return leg next week.

Real Madrid will need a miracle to turn the tie around in their favor when they host Mikel Arteta’s side.

However, De La Fuente believes the La Liga giants can beat Arsenal, adding that the game is still open despite the visitors holding a huge advantage from the first leg.

“It’s still very open,” De La Fuente was quoted by Diario Sport as saying.

“We all know how Real Madrid can play at home, particularly in Europe, and I’m not giving up on that tie.”
