Summer will be a crucial time for AC Milan. The club needs to decide not only on the name of the coach but also the future of certain players. Yet, the Rossoneri are still holding back.

Details: According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, everything hinges on the appointment of a new sporting director. Currently, the main candidate is former Lazio executive Igli Tare, and it seems he will be the one to tackle these personnel issues.

In addition to appointing a coach, believed to be Massimiliano Allegri, Tare will have to decide the future of six players. Two of them, Theo Hernandez and Mike Maignan (who suffered a serious injury in a match against Udinese), have contracts expiring in the summer of 2026.

Two others, Kyle Walker and Tammy Abraham, are on loan from Manchester City and Roma respectively, so Milan must decide whether to keep them. Tare will also need to determine what to do with Fikayo Tomori and Malick Thiaw. They still have contracts, but Milan might consider selling them.
