Serginho parla dei suoi ricordi con AC Milan e della sua vittoria più bella.

Serginho, former Rossoneri player, interviewed by Radio Serie A, gave the following statements about his experience at Milan:

“I remember very well the period from 2000 to 2008 when there were many Brazilians on the pitch—players who were protagonists not only in Italian football but also on the world stage. I vividly remember the South American Derby della Madonnina, because on the other side there was the Argentine team against our Brazilian one. It created a double atmosphere for this highly anticipated match—the derby always brings a lot of emotions.”

“Are we Brazilians still in touch? From time to time, we still get the chance to play with the Milan legends, and sometimes we see each other—clearly much less now because life is very fast and everyone has their own commitments. We still keep in touch through messages, but seeing each other in person is difficult.”

On his most beautiful victory with Milan, Serginho said:

“Personally, it was in Manchester because it was my first Champions League title. But I also remember when we went out against Barcelona in the semifinals—we were a great Milan side, playing really well. But for sure, as a personal victory, it’s the 2002/03 season.”

On the Rossoneri dressing room:

“It was really, really special. We were lucky to build such a great group. I believe football isn’t won only on the pitch. If you don’t have a group where everyone wants to be together and cares for one another, it becomes much harder. We were very united—we would go out to eat together, talk after training, and that made the group stronger. I’m still in touch with many of them to this day—Ambrosini, Brocchi, Seedorf, Oddo. When we see each other, it always feels the same. The bond isn’t just as footballers, but as people and as men.”
