Ibrahimovic and Conceicao speak on the field after Venezia win…see more

Sergio Conceicao and Zlatan Ibrahimovic were spotted having a chat after AC Milan’s 2-0 victory over Venezia, reports claim.

Milan got the job done against Venezia at the Stadio Pier Luigi Penzo on Sunday in the early kick-off, winning 2-0 thanks to goals from Christian Pulisic and Santiago Gimenez, who scored early and late in the game respectively.

As reported by MilanNews, Marco Russo and Marco Parolo – the DAZN correspondents on the sidelines at Venezia – revealed that Ibrahimovic and Conceiçao stopped to talk on the pitch well after the final whistle.

It was nothing major, however: according to the correspondents, it is a classic post-match chat that, instead of taking place indoors in the dressing rooms, they decided to have outside next to the pitch.

There is still not real hope of qualifying for the Champions League or even the Europa League through a top five finish in Serie A, though it is important to build momentum ahead of the Coppa Italia final.

Geoffrey Moncada’s words to DAZN before the game made it clear that the club are ‘very happy’ with Conceicao, which could mean the rumours about him leaving at the end of the season are premature.
