The 2025 NBA playoffs are heating up, but one of the biggest storylines has surprisingly emerged from the Milwaukee Bucks and their superstar, Giannis Antetokounmpo.
After a heartbreaking early exit at the hands of the Indiana Pacers, thanks in part to a devastating injury to Damian Lillard and a stunning overtime performance from Tyrese Haliburton, the Bucks are left reeling.
With three straight first-round exits, there’s a lot of chatter about whether Milwaukee and Giannis might be heading for a split.
If the blockbuster trade comes to fruition, the Bucks will receive Chet Holmgren, Cason Wallace, and Isaiah Hartenstein in exchange for the Greek Freak. Additionally, they would also send the NBA Draft 2026 and 2028’s 1st round picks.
That sounds like too much of the draft assets going away, but if you’re getting Giannis in return for all of that, it’s worth the deal.
However, as per FanDuel Sportsbook’s prediction, the Oklahoma City Thunder could come up with a probable trade scenario.
