Roma manager Claudio Ranieri addressed the sold out home crowd of the Stadio Olimpico following Roma’s 3-1 win over Milan.
The Italian coach received a special tribute from over 68,000 supporters gathered in the stands of the historical stadium.
“I remember that more than 60 years ago I was there among you,” Ranieri told the crowd at full-time.
“I thank you and I asked you for help to do something beautiful together. The last step is missing… I am proud of my boys.”
“Thank you all for understanding that we needed love to be able to succeed.”
