Roma are reconsidering the permanent signing of Alexis Saelemaekers.
The Belgian winger seemed to have satisfied Roma’s expectations given his impressive output over the course of this season.
According to Tuttosport, however, the Belgian’s pricetag fixed by Milan is deemed too high by Roma.
Milan, in fact, are said to be asking for €20-22 million.
A figure considered too high by the Giallorossi club, which at the moment does not appear to be willing to proceed with an operation under those conditions.
In the absence of an agreement, Saelemaekers is therefore destined to return to Milanello at the end of the season.
The two club will update during the summer to assess any margins for negotiation, but at the moment there are no signs of imminent developments.
