In the past 14 days, Theo’s situation has deteriorated massively at Milan. No longer are there talks of a potential renewal. Instead, it is a case of where he will leave in the mercato, with the road seemingly done.
Theo himself, despite previous suggestions that he only wanted the Rossoneri, has sought moves elsewhere. Though it is worth mentioning that this was unsuccessful, with Real Madrid looking at other options.
Nevertheless, there will still be plenty of suitors interested in the left-back, and today, TeleLombardia (via Milan News) reports that Juventus have joined the queue of suitors. Furthermore, it seems they are preparing a Como-like bid, which was in the region of €40 million.
Should Andrea Cambiaso leave the Old Lady, the door would be open for another quality left-sided defender, and Theo is the man who Juventus want, and it seems it is a two-way street. The report suggests that the defender has already ‘expressed pleasure’ about the move.
Considering his family are rather settled in Italy, a move to Turin may be preferred to a move abroad, though we will have to see.
