Talks between Manchester City and Milan for Tijjani Reijnders continue and have reportedly reached an ‘advanced stage.’

Sky Sport Italia’s Milan reporter Peppe Di Stefano describes negotiations between Milan and Manchester City for Reijnders at an “advanced stage.”

The Dutch midfielder is Man City’s priority in central midfield and the Premier League giants are pushing to secure his signature before the Club World Cup.

We’ve been reporting for a few days that Milan could sell a big player immediately after the end of the season, namely Tijjani Reijnders. Talks with Manchester City are at an advanced stage,” the Sky journalist said via PianetaMilan.

Reijnders has recently signed a contract extension with Milan, but his 15 goals and five assists in 53 appearances across all competitions this season have attracted interest from some of the best clubs in Europe, including Real Madrid.

Manchester City had already sounded out the Milan star in the January transfer window.

Milan have failed to qualify for European competitions for 2025-26, so they may be forced to sell one of their stars for financial reasons.
