Jurgen Klopp, the global head of football at Red Bull, has firmly denied any speculation about him taking over as the head coach of Roma.
“I’m not going to Roma. If you come across any rumors suggesting that I will take a coaching job in the next few years, it’s nonsense. You can say that first,” Klopp said, as quoted by journalist James Pearce on X.
It’s worth recalling that Roma’s current head coach Claudio Ranieri is set to leave the club at the end of this season.
After his departure from Liverpool, Klopp assumed a new role as global head of football within Red Bull’s sports empire. His responsibilities extend beyond RB Leipzig to include clubs such as Salzburg, New York Red Bulls, Red Bull Bragantino, and Liefering.
