The situation regarding Tijjani Reijnders’ future is about to heat up.
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano on his social media channels, Manchester City have made contact with AC Milan for the Dutch midfielder.
Their intention is to move ahead of competition from Barcelona and Real Madrid, which is why the Citizens are expected to submit an initial official offer for Reijnders in the coming days. Milan, however, won’t even sit at the table for anything under €70 million — meaning Pep Guardiola’s club will have to make a serious push to convince the Rossoneri to part ways with a player they’ve openly considered central to their plans for next season
