Sky: Leao and Reijnders to say goodbye to Milan fans tonight…see more

AC Milan will battle it out against Monza this evening and as reported by DAZN, the probability is high that this will be the final game for both Rafael Leao and Tijjani Reijnders in the Milan shirt.

Many changes are expected in the summer, following a very disappointing season and the arrival of new sporting director Igli Tare. Star exits have been mentioned in the media and, in particular, the likes of Tijjani Reijnders and Rafael Leao have attracted interest.

According to DAZN’s Orazio Accomando, there is a ‘high probability’ that Leao and Reijnders will wear the Milan shirt for the last time tonight. Manchester City are very interested in the Dutchman, while Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid are keeping a close eye on the winger.

Reijnders was named the best midfielder of the season by Serie A last night, so losing him would inevitably be a huge blow. Leao, meanwhile, has tremendous quality but has struggled to show that on a consistent basis, with it perhaps being the right time for an exit.

It remains to be seen what will happen but it’s clear that the sales could fetch a lot of money. At this point, however, Milan need strong players to turn their project around.
