In recent years, Milan have had a lot of success when shopping in the Premier League. Christian Pulisic, Ruben Loftus-Cheek Cheek and Fikayo Tomori have provided big moments for the club, though Loftus-Cheek’s have certainly been less frequent, due to injuries.
Despite this, the club have shown an openness to involving themselves in the English market. Especially, when opportunities arise, which is said to be a big aim for the Rossoneri. Now, it seems the latest may have arisen.
According to Argentinian outlet Olé (via Milan News), the club have begun negotiations with Manchester United, who are willing to sell Alejandro Garnacho this summer, due to a breakdown in relations with coach Ruben Amorim.
There is plenty of interest in the winger, mainly from Italy, where Juventus and Napoli are also trying to secure the youngster. However, with Rafael Leao potentially leaving this summer, the South American could be an ideal replacement.
It is unknown how much the Red Devils will seek this summer, but Transfermarkt has him valued at €45 million. A figure which you would imagine the Diavolo could easily afford this summer with a Leao-boosted kitty.
