Max Allegri is only a few days into his tenure at AC Milan, but he’s already moving full steam ahead. According to a report, he has also gathered all the information needed about the current squad.
Milan announced the appointment of Allegri yesterday, following the contract signing on Thursday evening, and a lot of work has already been done since. In addition to putting together his technical staff, the manager has also had meetings with sporting director Igli Tare regarding the mercato.
As you would expect, according to Franco Ordine for Corriere dello Sport (via Il Garante), the manager has gone one step further by gathering all the information possible about the players in the Milan squad. Everything from how they behaved during the season to their habits, he knows it all.
“Allegri is also very well informed about everything that has been going on behind the scenes. He knows perfectly well who did what during training, who stayed up late at night and so on. His main aim, through his management, is to restore Milan-worthy behaviour,” the journalist wrote.
Given the transfer rumours that are coming out, regarding which players Allegri would like to keep and which he would like to sell, one can perhaps work out one or two things from the above. In any case, the fact that the manager is doing his due diligence, so to speak, can only be seen as positive.
