Last season, there was much talk about the lack of a constant presence at Milanello, despite the frequent visits and on-and-off appearances of Zlatan Ibrahimović, Giorgio Furlani, and Geoffrey Moncada. This didn’t seem to be enough for the players, nor for the coaches—one of the reasons why the ownership decided to take action by hiring a sporting director who will also take on this role among many others.
That is clearly referring to the fact that Igli Tare will be a permanent presence at the Rossoneri training center. It will soon become a sort of headquarters for him, to prevent Massimiliano Allegri from feeling isolated, as was previously the case with Pioli after Maldini and Massara left, as well as Paulo Fonseca and Sergio Conceicao.
