Roma are planning to add another midfielder to their roster.
The name that has been linked the most with the capital club is that of Davide Frattesi who is reportedly on his way out of Inter.
However, negotiations for Frattesi have proven difficult, especially considering the fierce competition in the form of Napoli and Atletico Madrid, both of whom are interested in the ex-Sassuolo midfielder.
As a result, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Roma – operating under strict Financial Fair Play restrictions – have turned their attention to the free agent market.
Among the names being evaluated for the midfield is that of Arsenal’s Thomas Partey.
The Ghanaian midfielder’s contract with the Gunners is set to expire in June after a season which saw him feature in 52 games across all competitions with 4 goals and 3 assists and a whopping 3,946 minutes played.
