Now that the offseason has begun for most NBA teams, various players are more outspoken than they were during the 2024-25 campaign.
In a recent interview, a former Los Angeles Lakers superstar big man made a surprising announcement about the organization’s 40-year-old phenom, LeBron James. “As soon as he (James) gets to the arena, he takes his entire uniform, from the jersey to the shorts, the socks, the shoes, everything, and lays it on the floor,” Anthony Davis said on May 22.
“And no one can touch it. It became a thing where you can’t even walk over it. You have to walk around it.”
James and Davis were teammates in Los Angeles for 5.5 seasons and won a championship together in 2020.
However, Davis’ injury history played a significant factor in the Lakers’ decision to trade him to the Dallas Mavericks for Luka Doncic on Feb. 2. LAFC VS Club Americas Highlights
