The summer plans for AC Milan are becoming more known, and it seems they are targetting a big deal for an aging Saudi Pro League star.
There have been a number of impressive imports to the Saudi Pro League in recent years, especially in the forward market. For example, Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema have both headed to Saudi Arabia.
However, there has also been a market for players who are not quite in the elite bracket, and Aleksandar Mitrovic is one of those. Now, he is being linked with a move back to Europe.
According to L’Equipe this afternoon, Saudi officials are in Paris to speak to a few clubs about some players. Theo Hernandez, obviously, is one of the candidates to be discussed, and it seems the Rossoneri will also speak about a player of their own interest.
That player is Mitrovic, whose deal expires in 2026. Scoring 47 goals in 51 SPL appearances across the past two years, he is seen as an option to bolster the Rossoneri’s attacking line, especially with Luka Jovic’s situation still a little unclear.
It seems his valuation is around the €40 million mark, which seems a little high considering his age and contract situation. However, he provides a completely different profile than what is currently available to the Rossoneri.
