Massimiliano Allegri was present at the AC Milan headquarters on Wednesday for discussions about the future of the club.
There has almost been too much to try and keep up with in terms of the transfer news that surrounds Milan, starting from the pursuit of Luka Modric which appears to be close to the finish line.
Then there are the exits that are being spoken about in the media. Tijjani Reijnders, Mike Maignan and Theo Hernandez are all believed to be in talks over leaving, with the Dutchman on his way to Manchester City in a deal worth €70m.
According to MilanNews, the new Milan coach Allegri was at Casa Milan today to plan the immediate future together with sporting director Igli Tare and the entire management. The main topic of discussion, obviously, is the transfer market.
After the sale of Reijnders to Manchester City and the imminent signing of Modric, we await Milan’s next moves both in terms of outgoings, with Theo and Maignan being hot names.
There are more incomings expected too, it goes without saying, because there will be a lot of work to do on this front to make the team competitive again.
As for the start of preseason, it is believed that the raduno should be brought forward by a week (to July 4 or 5) to get more work in before departing for the Asia and Australia tour.
