Luka Modric is ready to sign a €3m contract with Milan until 2026, with an option for a further campaign, sources tell Football Italia.
Croatian star Modric is on the verge of joining Milan on a free transfer after the end of his contract with Real Madrid.
Sources tell Football Italia that the Rossoneri have a full agreement with the 39-year-old, who will sign a contract until 2026 with an option for a further campaign.
Modric will earn €3m in the 2025-26 campaign.
The 2018 Ballon d’Or winner will put pen to paper on his agreement with the Rossoneri in the coming hours.
Modric made history at Real Madrid, spending 13 years, scoring 43 goals in 591 appearances with the Merengues.
During his time at the club, Modric won, among other trophies, the Champions League six times and four La Liga titles.
Meanwhile, Milan have also reached an agreement to sell their midfield star Tijjani Reijnders to Manchester City for €75m.
