If you’re like me, you might already be bored of the Mike Maignan to Chelsea story – but apparently AC Milan are now blocking the move.
This news comes after Chelsea finally confirmed the arrival of striker Liam Delap from Ipswich Town on Wednesday after days of us knowing it was a done deal!
Delap arrives at the club on a 6-year contract and Chelsea are paying the £30m release clause to sign which in reality, is an absolutely bargain in this day and age.
Chelsea fans know they have a top new talent coming in here, one that is still a bit raw and still developing, but one who has an incredibly high ceiling and so many top attributes for a number 9.
The Mike Maignan to Chelsea story is just mad right now. It looked like it was happening and then all of a sudden Chelsea are penny pinching and don’t want to pay £25m to sign a world class goalkeeper.
Yep, I’m well and truly bored and fed up with this one already and it’s only been going on for a couple of days so far!
It depends what you believe of course, because there is all sorts of games and PR tactics going on from both clubs right now as they push out their side of the story during negotiations in what is a common tactical occurrence in these deals.
But Gianluca Di Marzio is claiming that Milan have now blocked the move of Maignan anyway.
He claims that AC Milan is blocking Maignan to Chelsea because their new coach Max Allegri wants to keep the goalkeeper.
