AC Milan continue to negotiate on various tables, and there has been an enquiry over two Spurs players as per a report.
After having made official the sale of Tijjani Reijnders to Manchester City and being one step away from finalising that of Yunus Musah to Napoli, Milan have fresh money to invest in remaking its midfield.
The first signing will be Luka Modric, even if his arrival will be postponed until after the Club World Cup. The Croatian will honour his contract with Real Madrid until the end by actively participating in the intercontinental tournament.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Allegri’s impact on Milan has been significant from the start. The coach is having a say in many strategic decisions in the technical area, led by sporting director Igli Tare.
Among his requests is Adrien Rabiot, a midfielder that he loved having at Juventus. Their paths then separated: the coach took a sabbatical, the player went to Marseille. The connection between the two is strong and the feeling is that Marseille’s resistance may sooner or later give way.
In the next few hours, contacts with Marseille will intensify, with whom the Ismael Bennacer issue also needs to be resolved. The French club have no intention of paying the player’s buy-out option, but would like to renegotiate his loan.
Tare received a visit from Gabriele Giuffrida on Wednesday, a well-known agent. He looks after Guglielmo Vicario and Radu Dragusin of Spurs, and the director took the opportunity to ask for information on both.
Then, Tare met with CEO Giorgio Furlani to talk about other potential outgoings, with Malick Thiaw, Fikayo Tomori, Yacine Adli, Noah Okafor and Samuel Chukwueze all on the way out. Ayyoub Bouaddi of Lille is another target.
