Santiago Gimenez, today, has offered a suggestion to the mercato department at AC Milan ahead of the window opening.
It is expected to be a big summer for Milan, and it seems that additions will come across the pitch. The Rossoneri have already been busy even before the mercato has opened, and there are a number of targets for every department.
Recently, there has been a big focus on Dusan Vlahovic, news that Gimenez would surely like to quieten if he can. However, he also has an idea for the summer.
Speaking to Record MX, via Pianeta Milan, the Mexican striker actually admitted that he would bring fellow Mexican and Feyenoord defender Johan Vasquez to the Rossoneri if he could.
“I would take Johan Vasquez. He is a very strong central defender, a professional, a tough central defender, and he has a winning mentality. He would be perfect for Milan. He already knows the championship, he has been here in Italy for a while, he has been consistent, he doesn’t get injured, I think it would be a good idea to take him.”
The defender, who had a decent season for the Rossoblu, is valued around the €10-15m mark, and it would certainly be interesting if the idea became tangible this summer!
