In his Big 3 debut, it took no time at all for Basketball Hall of Famer Dwight Howard to get into it. Interestingly enough, it was with a fellow Los Angeles Lakers alum, Lance Stephenson.
During the game, Howard and Stephenson got into a scuffle that started with Howard shoving Stephenson away, then led to Howard putting Stephenson in a one-arm headlock before both players tackled each other to the ground.
The fight happened moments after Stephenson got into it with another former NBA player, Jordan Crawford, though to be fair, Crawford started that scuffle. It’s unclear if Howard took exception to the previous altercation with his Big 3 teammate, but it was clear Stephenson would not be held back.
Fans quickly took to social media to react, with many firing shots at Howard and Stephenson, both together and separately.
“Two of the biggest frauds in basketball history tbf,” one wrote.
Dwight tried to punk someone way smaller than him and lance wasn’t havin it,” another wrote.
“wtf was Lance doing,” one asked with three laughing emojis.
“There was never any other way this was going to go down,” said one.
Ice cube gonna have to ban them both from the league,” one fan decreed.
“Dwight’s a Hall of Famer what’s he doing man,” one asked
This looked both legit and staged at the same time,” said one.
“Laker legends,” one added.
“ADAM SILVER bring this back to the league,” one implored.
“Lance trying fight everyone lol,” another fan claimed.
