Report: New offer planned for Valencia midfielder why Tare remains confident… see more

It was reported by Sky, Gianluca Di Marzio and MilanNews on Monday night that Milan had put in their first official bid to sign Guerra. It was believed to be €16m as a fixed fee, and €4m in potential bonuses, and then several sources emerged stating it had been turned down.

MilanPress relay news from various placed, starting with a confirmation that Valencia rejected Milan’s first offer of €20m including bonuses and are asking for €25m in fixed terms plus bonuses on top of that

According to Orazio Accomando of SportMediaset and DAZN, the Rossoneri are still optimistic that they can close the deal and will soon present a new offer of €18m plus €3m in bonuses while a four-year contract worth €3m net per season is ready for the player.

According to Corriere dello Sport, the Diavolo directors will present a new offer in the next few days, but the operation with the Spanish club will not be short because it is unlikely that Valencia will move from the request, owing Villarreal 30% as a sell-on.

Calciomercato.com report that Igli Tare and Giorgio Furlani – through the intermediary – presented an initial verbal offer to Valencia of €18m plus €2m in add-ons. The gap with the Spanish club is around €7m, which is too large to imagine a quick closing of the deal.

Tare is convinced that he has all the cards in order to successfully close things. The Albanian has the green light from the player, who has expressed his preference for Milan compared to the other proposals arrived from Aston Villa and Atletico Madrid.

The negotiation will be long, almost like a game of chess. Javi is now busy at the U21 European Championship with the Spanish national team and would like to know his future by, and no later than, the end of the international tournament
