Gbs: Morata to change clubs again…see more

Alvaro Morata has changed clubs regularly in his career, and it appears he is heading for yet another move this summer.

Calciomercato.com write how Morata is a player in constant search of new stimuli. In his career he has changed shirts and leagues continuously: Real Madrid, Juventus, Chelsea, Atletico Madrid, Milan and now Galatasaray.

Apart from the beginning of his career in Madrid with Los Blancos, he has never worn the same shirt for three consecutive seasons. It is a strange record that will continue this summer because the Spaniard has asked his agents to work on a new transfer.

Morata won the title in Turkey with Galatasaray and scored seven goals in 15 appearances. It seems like a good return, but the Spaniard has never felt important for the Istanbul club, given the presence of Victor Osimhen largely.

Milan are aware of Alvaro’s desire to move and now they have another case to manage. The Turkish club paid €6m to the Rossoneri for the loan of Morata until at least January 2026, so it would mean terminating it early.

In addition to that, Galatasaray can enact two purchase clauses: one in the winger for €8m or in June for €9m. The clubs interested in the former Atletico Madrid man must find a solution, therefore, both with Milan and Galatasaray.

In the last few hours Morata has been strongly linked to Cesc Fabregas’ Como. Indeed, Fabregas called Alvaro to tell him about the philosophy and project of the club, to share thoughts and also exchange some advice.

At the moment it seems like an unlikely move, given the obstacle of his salary at €6m net with Galatasaray (with Milan he had signed for €4.5m). It does not seem to be surmountable also due to a question of balance within the dressing room.

Morata’s desire is to return to play in the Spanish League. At the moment, only inquiries have been received from a few clubs, including Sevilla. Among the options for Alvaro’s future, the one that leads to Milan remains unlikely, although not to be arbitrarily excluded.

On the other hand, in the event of a premature termination of the loan to Galatasaray, the Spaniard would still be tied to a contract with the Diavolo that expires in 2028.

Tare, Moncada and Furlani are working on other objectives to strengthen the attack, though. Not only that, but the management did not appreciate the early farewell last January due to heated discussions with Sergio Conceiçao.

The Allegri factor should not be underestimated: the new coach adores Morata as a footballer and the relationship between the two has been fantastic since the time of their happy experience together at Juventus. Who knows, perhaps a now-unlikely return could grow in likelihood.
