The Los Angeles Lakers made a lot of fans happy, and caused a lot of frustration, last season when they dealt their best big man Anthony Davis to the Dallas Mavericks for Luka Doncic.
The Lakers’ trade led to a flurry of moves that included a deal for Charlotte Hornets center Mark Williams that fell apart at the last minute, leaving a gaping hole on offense and defense for coach JJ Redick’s team.
The Lakers’ weaknesses were ripped open and exposed by Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert in the playoffs, causing LA to go back to the draw board.Recently, the Bovada Sportsbook gave LA the strongest chance of any NBA team to land a center who could turn Redick’s team into a legit contender overnight.The Lakers are favorites to land Bam Adebayo in a potential trade, per @BovadaOfficial,” NBA Central wrote on Monday.
