AC Milan are seemingly moving full steam ahead on the mercato, with multiple negotiations ongoing. The main focus right now, as highlighted by Gazzetta dello Sport, is Club Brugge’s star midfielder Ardon Jashari.
Igli Tare and Max Allegri are wasting no time in building the new Milan, even if the first signing is yet to arrive. After making two key sales, i.e. Tijjani Reijnders and Theo Hernandez, the sporting director now has some more freedom in the negotiations.
The current priority is to reinforce the midfield, given the first of the two aforementioned departures, and Jashari is a top target of the Rossoneri. The price tag, however, is rather high and that is why the negotiations have been tricky so far.
As highlighted by the front pages of today’s newspapers in Italy, the parties may have taken a big step forward as Milan have put €30m plus bonuses on the table.
