Dodò could leave Fiorentina during the summer transfer window, and AC Milan have once again been linked with signing him.
According to Calciomercato.com, Dodo has a contract with La Viola until 2027 and he asked them to make him a renewal offer last October but only received it in the winter. This was not well received, and could have a knock-on effect regarding his future.
For their part, Fiorentina have made it clear that it has formulated an offer that the management considers appropriate, and that they only reason they did not do so before because the issue was not a priority.
The sporting director Daniele Pradè appeared calm on the subject before Raffaele Palladino’s resignation as head coach, which has turned things upside down.
Dodo now wants to change clubs and take advantage of the opportunity to also increase his visibility in the eyes of the Brazilian coach Carlo Ancelotti in the season that will lead to the World Cup.
Hansi Flick’s Barcelona and Massimiliano Allegri’s Milan have shown interest in him, but at the moment there is no concrete move. Inter, in the meantime, signed his compatriot Luis Henrique, and Juventus are moving for the other Brazilian Wesley.
Dodò should therefore show up at the preseason training camp under the orders of Stefano Pioli, who will try to recompose the situation and move forward even without a renewal, postponing the problem in the worst case scenario.
