Burnley have asked about signing Warren Bondo on a loan deal, but the player has made his stance clear regarding his AC Milan future.
Milan are undergoing a lot of changes in the midfield department. Tijjani Reijnders has already left and Yunus Musah is believed to be on the way out, with Luka Modric and Samuele Ricci coming in as part of the rebuild.
This, naturally, will change the hierarchies a bit, especially if Massimiliano Allegri really does view Ruben Loftus-Cheek as a useful asset too.
Among the players who will be present at Milanello on Monday for the preseason gathering will be Warren Bondo, a midfielder who arrived in the winter mercato from Monza on a permanent basis for around €10m.
As reported today by La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below), the Frenchman has ended up in the sights of Burnley who have asked for him on loan. The Frenchman however, does not want to leave Milan, and wants to stay to play for a spot under Allegri.
Bondo’s first months at Milan were not easy due to some injuries. At the beginning of his Rossoneri adventure he was out for a few games due to a physical problem he had when he was still at Monza, while at the end of the season he was left out due to an ankle problem.
In between, he spent several games on the bench and made five appearances, three of which were as a starter.
