Besiktas have expressed an interest in signing Noah Okafor from AC Milan, but at present there is no agreement over the formula.
Okafor returned to Milan after an unsuccessful six-month loan spell with Napoli, at least on a personal note. He struggled to get fit and then did not get many minutes, though he was there for the Scudetto celebrations.
It is believed that the Rossoneri management are hoping to find a solution for the Swiss forward given he is not a part of the plans, but rumours have been sparse in recent days.
During the YouTube live broadcast this evening on Fabrizio Romano’s channel, Matteo Moretto (via MilanNews) confirmed the news yesterday that emerged regarding interest from Besiktas in Okafor.
The Turkish club tried to sign him on a loan deal but without a loan fee, an offer that Igli Tare promptly sent back to sender. There is interest in the player and there have also been contacts with his entourage, to understand if a better proposal will be presented to Milan in the next few days.
As reported by MilanNews, there are also other European clubs as well as some South American ones courting the player. Recently, the former Salzburg player refused a significant proposal from Flamengo.
