Alvaro Morata’s potential move to Como remains in limbo as Galatasaray are unwilling to let the striker leave, at least not until the Victor Osimehn situation has been solved.
Back in January, Morata joined Galatasaray on an 18-month loan with an option to buy, following Milan’s signing of Santiago Gimenez. However, despite six league goals and three assists for the Turkish side, he could already be on his way out.
Como have moved decisively for the Spaniard and an agreement has been reached for the personal terms. Milan are also willing to accept the solution as it could perhaps fetch them some more money, although there have also been suggestions of Como simply taking over the same loan.
However, as confirmed by the Turkish reporter Ali Naci Küçük to Sky Spor TV (via FraNasato) earlier today, Galatasaray are unwilling to part ways with Morata: “Galatasaray will not let Morata go until the Osimhen situation is clear,” he stated on air.
The Turkish side are attempting to sign Osimhen on a permanent basis but some big clubs are also in the race for the Nigerian. In other words, until they have another star striker in place, they will not part ways with Morata.
